Land of the Mermaids

Massalubrense, the land of mermaids, at the extremes of the Sorrentine Peninsula stretched out towards the island of Capri almost wanting to touch it, surrounded by about 20 km of coasts washed by the two gulfs of Naples and Salerno.

The territory, rich in history, myths and traditions, is crossed far and wide by a network of trails of more than 100 km; some pedestrian streets, with stretches of characteristic sandstone, connect the numerous hamlets, as many as 18, from which the municipality is composed.
Those who walk along these paths, with their eyes on evocative and enchanting views, are accompanied by the scenery of the typical pergolas to protect the lemon groves, lush olive groves and, in the coastal sections, the typical scents of the Mediterranean bush.

A network of trails crosses the entire territory, between ancient villages, bays, coves, beaches, offering magnificent scenery and breathtaking views suspended between sky and sea.
Different routes, length and difficulty, to do alone or with a nature guide.

An exceptional gastronomic journey through the delicious delicacies of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Delicious fish dishes, mozzarella, the monk’s prestigious provolone, the typical tomato, zucchini, juicy and fragrant lemon and its liqueur: Limoncello.
